Mental Health Services

Substance abuse and mental health disorders often go hand in hand.  Mental health problems have been known to cause alcohol or drug use as a form of self-medication.  Exposure to stress and trauma can sometimes cause changes to brain composition and trigger substance abuse to those who are genetically vulnerable to addiction.  On the other hand, addiction to certain illegal substances and alcohol can lead to mental health problems.

Complete Healthcare is here to help you.  Our certified and licensed healthcare professionals will assess your physical, mental, social, and emotional health with an in-person confidential consultation.  An effective plan of both individual and family counseling as part of the IOP (Intensive Outpatient Programming), provides medication management in conjunction with psychotherapy to treat the root of your addiction and enhance results to better mental health.

Our program helps with coping with your diagnosis as well as finding a way to prevent a relapse from occurring.  Understanding moods, emotions, and triggers from life experiences, our counselors work with you to create a healthy self-esteem and identify warning signs that lead to unhealthy behaviors.

Approximately half of adults living with a mental health problem also suffer from a dependency on drugs or alcohol.  To obtain success in treatment of addiction, the mental disorder must be treated as well.  Identifying Dual Diagnosis (having both a mental disorder and addiction to alcohol and/or drugs) is key to healing addiction.
